教授還特別叮嚀，要深呼吸，不要緊張，以平常心，口穩才會清淅。所以口試時還真的不緊張。 我用’’活到老，學到老’這句中國俗語，直接開門見山點出我們從小所給予的文化跟影響。我的反見是，學習完全在於個人對自己的期望、觀感還有態度。然後用自己學習英文跟德文的經驗比較(如，年紀輕時很容易記住單字，現在得花較多時間等)，家庭的影響跟支持的重要，雖然爸媽不會說英文，卻常陪我逛書局，買英文錄音帶跟課外書等。最後給個總結論加上自己的看法。
